Tired of getting the same old thing for Mom or Grandma?  Time to step back and rethink the gift exchange.

Here are a couple of eco-friendly Mother’s Day ideas.

1. Organic Bouquet ~ love this wreath.  Feminine and classic.

2.  Find a local cooking class ~ encourage her to make it a Mom’s Night Out event with friends.
3. Get her a membership to a local attraction~ think botanical garden, museum or a local farm.
4. Organic skin care ~ a luxury for those looking for make the switch to healthier products. Check out Saffron Rouge, an online retailer for ideas. Even in drugstores you can find Yes to Carrots, Burts Bees and more eco-friendly beauty buys.
New non-nano sunscreen is on my wish list
5. Charitable gift ~ find a local charity that has meaning and make a donation in her name. I like this idea for remembering loved ones lost as well.
6. Time ~ yes, time.  Sometimes that is all we really need, not stuff.  Give us a little extra time somewhere so we can do a little more of whatever it is that we love.
