Slow cooker season arrived with the beginning of f

Slow cooker season arrived with the beginning of fall sports. Now we are moving past salsa chicken or pulled pork and moving into roasts and stew season.
Today’s chuck roast will be an easy dinner after an afternoon of XC and football practice and soccer coaching for me. Tucked in the pot are potatoes and carrots from our summer garden.

If I pair it will egg noodles it gets all the kids to the table.

Off they go! Excited for new beginnings, fall sports, and a quiet house for a few hours.

🍍If I can make a green juice taste good enough

🍍If I can make a green juice taste good enough for my kids to want seconds, I’ll call that a win. The secret is adding pineapple. Makes everything taste like a tropical treat.

Pineapple also contains vitamins C, B1, and B6, fiber and digestive enzymes that make it anti-inflammatory.

This one has kale, cabbage, celery, cucumber and pineapple in case you want to make one or order at your local juice bar.
