Why yes, I still meal plan. Mostly. Well maybe not as well as I used to for the past two years but I’m so ready to get back on track to map our our family dinner plans. My last official meal plan post here was June 16, prior to taking time away from the computer and spending it at the beach. Then came back to school and Madison’s surgery and alas, here we are in November, ready to bring some organization back to the table as we head into the fun holiday season.
On deck this week:
Monday~ leftover (fiery) Chili
Tuesday~ Greek Style Shrimp with Feta and Broccoli. {new recipe from Dinner: A Love Story cookbook}
Wednesday~ Pomegranate Pork Loin in the slow cooker and green beans on side. Also a D:ALS recipe.
Thursday~ Hot Dogs by request and a salad
Friday~ Pizza night with our homemade pizza dough in the bread maker.
What are you making these days for dinner? Any favorite new recipe sources you can share?

That pork lion looks AMAZING! Pinning now so I can make it next week!
That’s a great meal plan. I know my kids and hubby would love it!
I’ve never put pomegranate with pork before, but you have me intrigued.
So glad things have settled down and you are back in action! We keep going back to Chris’s famous Roast Chicken Dinner with veggies on the weekends! YUMMY!
I’d love to see that shrimp + feta recipe – I love anything with feta.
I’ve fallen off the meal planning wagon, too – glad to see you made it back on!
I’m horrible at meal planning, but am trying to get better. This week, I am doing meatballs, crock pot mac and cheese, tomato/balsamic chicken, and chicken caesar salad. That shrimp and feta recipe sounds delicious!
Nothing beats a good chili! We just had that last night. 🙂 And that pork loin looks amazing. Pomegranate…wow! Delish!
The Pomegranate Pork Loin looks delicious and easy and I’ll have to check out Dinner: A Love Story cookbook just for the Greek Style Shrimp with Feta and Broccoli recipe! Thanks for sharing your meal plan for the week to provide me with new ideas for dinner inspiration!
That pork loin sounds wonderful. Perfect for fall. I actually own Dinner: A Love Story and have enjoyed many a meal from that book!
Nothing like getting a glimpse into someone else’s meal plan for the week. If only I were this organized! Chilli is on our menu every week- so simple and everyone loves it.
Thank you for the reminder to write out my meal plan. It is such an efficient way to eat well, save money and try new recipes! That pomegranate pork loin looks amazing!
Glad to know I’m not the only one trying to get back to meal planning! It’s been a bit of a struggle, but just this week, I’ve found dinner prep much less stressful when I know exactly what I’m going to be making instead of scrambling around at the last minute. We had hearty Turkey Chili on Monday, and I’m thinking I want to add this porkloin recipe to my list for next week.
