🍍If I can make a green juice taste good enough 🍍If I can make a green juice taste good enough for my kids to want seconds, I’ll call that a win. The secret is adding pineapple. Makes everything taste like a tropical treat. 

Pineapple also contains vitamins C, B1, and B6, fiber and digestive enzymes that make it anti-inflammatory.

This one has kale, cabbage, celery, cucumber and pineapple in case you want to make one or order at your local juice bar.

Local tulip farms are opening up way earlier than Local tulip farms are opening up way earlier than usual. This warm weather is welcomed but certainly not the norm. As the weather heats up, switching from soups to salads at lunch and smoothies for snacks finally feels right. ⁠

Eating with the seasons is so important for digestive health. Warm weather means cooling foods like cucumbers and other raw fruits and veggies. When the temp drops again, go for cooked veggies, soups, and warm grain salads. ⁠

I've made a considerable effort to read more and s I've made a considerable effort to read more and scroll less this year. So far, so good. While new cookbooks are still a big part of my library list each week, I've finally gotten into a better habit of reading fiction at night and non-fiction during the day. ⁠

The two best books so far this year are Go As A River for fiction and Blitzscaling for non-fiction. ⁠
