We recently got the opportunity to review the new Bosch Junior Workbench from One Step Ahead. As a fan of One Step Ahead for having hard to find child proofing products and the best bathroom stool around, I was happy to test out one of their items from their 2012 holiday toy line.
JJ is nearly two and he loves to play with a friend’s tool bench every time he visits his house. I chose the Bosch Junior Workbench and the Bosch Toy Toolbox and Tool Set to review. In the eyes of a child, the item is great. There are just enough pieces to keep him entertained, and also enough that his big sister can play with it at the same time. JJ spends most of his time hammering anything…including the windows. It’s times like those that makes me ok with buying a plastic toy occasionally.
From the parent perspective, it was easy to set up. It took about 15 minutes total. Although I like the tool box set, there are some duplicate toys from what is already included with the tool bench. I think you would be better off ordering the separate drill which is definitely the toy the kids are fighting over. It’s battery operated and moves the gears on the table so it was a big hit for both a two and four year old.
Now it’s your turn to win the whole package! This is a $90 value giveaway including the Bosch Tool Bench and Tool Box and Tool Set items. Giveaway will end on 11/24/12 at midnight. Contest open to US residents only.
