Easy healthy 5 minute hummus recipe

Ingredients

  • two 15 ounce cans of chickpeas drained
  • 10 tablespoons of olive oil
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 cloves of garlic peeled
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until desired texture is reached.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

One to two garlic cloves may be enough for little kids. If they find it too spicy, stick with one clove and no pepper.
